Mechanism vs Mechanics

10

Mechanism is a philosophy
Mechanics is a physical, observable, measurable (within the limits of our science) activity.
Mechanism says that mechanics is all that there is. Its existence is a product of time plus chance and our ability to observe it.
Vitalism says that there is something else, not physical, something that is immaterial but perceptible through valid methods other than empiricism and that something, while not material, is real.
Intelligent design says that the mechanics, the physical activity leaves us with empirical evidence that in some, many, or most cases, the evidence is strong that mechanism does not have the answers.

Since the major premise deals with universal matter, and within it’s defined triune, 2 metaphysical properties (universal intelligence and universal force), and if vitalism only applies to living things (p16,18,19,20), what do you call the philosophy of mechanics at the level of universal matter? In the universe, where their is NO life (p16,18,19,20), the philosophy of Mechanism must still apply, but as described with intelligent organization, thus warranting another name, or would that name be Chiropractic philosophy? Does Chiropractic philosophy exist as a philosophy, without Living things?

      Dave,

      What does principle #2 state?

  2. David Suskin 08/18/2014, 9:37 pm:

    Claude,
    I know I know.
I also know that vitalism has numerous forms or interpretations of which chiropractic is its own form of vitalism. Which is unique to chiropractic philosophy. We constitute the from as a
Deductive Truth. So I would expect you to agree with me without condemnation that Yes, principle 2 states vitalism is a principle in ALL matter.
Based on the authority of the 33 principles. When the matter is able to express the innate forces of innate intelligence, life in matter will be expressed as evident by expressing the signs of life as we know it.

Once Again. Chiropractic philosophy by the authority of its major premise deducts to P2 which means Vitalism is a principle in ALL Matter. That is the chiropractic meaning of Life. Do you agree?

      Dave,

As long as you understand that the chiropractic meaning of life is “universal” life which is EXISTENCE of ALL e/matter (pri.2). Yes.

    I understand
    Amazing, isn’t it 😉

Chiropractic: mechanically applied vitalism, by intelligent design.

    • David Suskin 08/19/2014, 2:15 pm:

      I would say,
Chiropractic: Vitalistically applied mechanics, where if implicitly required matter is available (eg. carbon based, energy, environment constraints (temperature, etc.)) can manifest in formation and development of innate matter thus called intelligent design, and in active process and organization is the Innate Intelligence principle manifested.

      • Steve 08/19/2014, 2:23 pm:

Chiropractic: mechanically applied (manual adjustment) vitalism (for metaphysical applications), by intelligent design (done on purpose as opposed to by accidental concussion of forces).

    I like it

Being that p20 states that: Innate Intelligence – A “living thing” has an inborn intelligence within its body, called Innate Intelligence.

Is the body, THE THAT, as referenced in p20, which also I suggest as others do, is INTELLIGENTLY designed (structures and functions (eg. from micro (protein molecule, osmosis, atp synthesis, etc.) to macro(skeletal biomechanics, nerve impulse conduction, synapses, etc.) operating as INTELLIGENT machines and processes of the body.
Is the this INTELLIGENCE, A deduction from p2 – The Chiropractic Meaning of Life – The expression of this intelligence through matter is the Chiropractic meaning of life.

But the HOW is not within the 33 principles and is more a topic of creation, alternate theories of Evolution, etc.

In other Word, the INTELLIGENT, in INTELLIGENT Design, references p1,p2
    yes/no
