OC, ThC, and TC part 1

The Objective Chiropractor(OSC) addresses the vertebral subluxation and does not address the disease. The therapeutic chiropractor (ThC) addresses only the disease, sometimes using the adjustment. The Traditional Chiropractor (TC) addresses the vertebral subluxation as the cause of disease. Is this a fair assessment?

    OC/dis-ease, TC/dis-ease&disease, ThC/disease. Got it.

    OC/Chiropractic; TC/Medipractors;ThC/Medicine. Got it.

    – Fact #1: The chiropractic objective is deduced from the authority of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science. –

    – Fact #2: The chiropractic objective is the : LACVS for a full expression of the innate forces of the innate intelligence of the body. PERIOD. –

    – Fact #3: The authority of OCs is chiropractic’s basic science which is comprised of 33 principles. –

    – Fact #4: OCs practice ONLY the chiropractic objective, which is based on the authority of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science. –

    – What is the authority of TCs? What is the authority of ThCs?

    – We must realize that we define a profession by its OBJECTIVE, not by WHAT it does nor by results from what it does. Example, certain religions believe in healing, specifically, faith healing, and since religion accomplishes the cure of disease as some of evangelical ministers do, that does not make religion a part of the healing art or medicine. Medical doctors can correct vertebral subluxations inadvertently, like with muscle relaxants, surgery or simple rest) and that does not make them chiropractic. Physical therapists move joints and sometimes may correct VS, and that does not make them chiropractors. Chiropractors can also allow the body to cure diseases and that does not make them medicine. Under chiropractic care, you become a better person, law abiding citizen, christian, hindu, muslim, that does not make the chiropractor a lawyer or a minister. That does not make chiropractic a religion. Results don’t determine your profession, don’t define your profession, like when it is me WHO choose to LACVS, some people under my care will get rid of their kidney infection and that does not make me a medical doctor. –

    – Again, What is the authority of TCs? What is the authority of ThCs?

A Powerful explanation in it’s Fact Points – bravo!
What is the Chiropractic definition of AUTHORITY?
      Can AUTHORITY be challenged successfully?
      Is AUTHORITY always true?
If AUTHORITY has paradoxes and contradictions, must they too be accepted without challenging the accuracy of the AUTHORITY?
Do you know where I’m going with this?

Through the MANY comments that I posted on COTB, you will notice that it is me WHO have chosen to challenge the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science. So far, I have not been successful in taking ONE principle away, adding ONE more principle, or even changing the terminology of any principles. ONLY, clarifying some terms, like principle #2, “The Chiropractic Meaning of Life”. In this context, it is the meaning of universal life, or better yet, existence. Other terms like force is really instructive information. Matter is really e/matter. There is NO need to change ANY terms as long as the lexicon explains what they mean from a chiropractic point of view. –

        – It is me WHO choose to invite anyone to challenge the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science. From the point of view of “owning” chiropractic, it is much more important to challenge the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science, than to accept it point blank. To “own” chiropractic is to understand chiropractic! To accept chiropractic point blank is to believe chiropractic. That’s very important to understand that.

        • David Suskin 11/18/2014, 11:53 pm:

I understand. Completely. I’ve been challenging p28 and find no deduction without induction first. That being the nervous system IS THE main or only vehicle that II uses to transmit (for lack of a better word) force. Moving from deductions that comprises metaphysical concepts into a physical principle to my way of thinking takes an enormous leap of faith and as you said, point blank belief. If I could just get over this hump, I think it would be very helpful to me.
It’s the quintessential question and center of Chiropractic. Adjusting the spine for a logical reason. The reason has to be like bedrock so I for one can get on that pulpit and scream. People! Chiropractic touches every part of you!!! I’d does Doc? How? I can can BS them. But I cannot BS myself. For too long at least.
And yes, I’ll probably find solution here and question something else, which is ME. And that’s OK. But for Now, Claude, I most appreciatively ask for your continued input into this question.
Yes Claude. I am most sincere. I thank you for being genuinely committed and to being the helpful and inspiring guy you are. Thanx

The function of innate intelligence is ALWAYS normal as per principle #27 and one of the purposes of that function is to have coordination of action of all the parts of the body for mutual benefit (pri.23). In order to have coordination of action, there must be harmonious functioning of parts (pri.32) to manifest mutual benefit which requires congruent interconnectivity amongst different parts. In other words, as innate intelligence adapts universal forces and e/matter for coordination of action (pri.23), the congruency of instructive information necessary to harmonize all the parts of the body needs intelligent distribution from a centralized control center forming the operating system used by the innate intelligence of the body in order to coordinate the activities of all the parts of the body. Since we know from principle #6 that there is no process that does not require time, coordination of action of all the parts of the body is a process requiring time. Coordination of action also requires TRANSMISSION of the instructive information of the innate intelligence of the body… from the centralization center to the parts of the body at the periphery. It needs centralization and distribution from center to periphery. Time is paramount for physical e/matter to process metaphysical data and express that data (pri.6 and 13). It requires time for living e/matter to process innate forces (pri.23) without breaking a universal law (pri.24). A direct contact between the expression of metaphysical data by physical e/matter (pri.13) and its physical motion (pri.14) must interface with each other. This interface is the union of metaphysical intelligence and physical e/matter expressing instructive information created and adapted by intelligence (pri.10 and 23). Since it requires time to centralize and distribute data to be processed by living e/matter, distance between different parts must be interconnected with each other in order to harmonize their specific function into coordinated activity (pri.32). Through observation, the physical interface of the vertebrate animal body consists of a specialized system of intelligent directed conductivity and is necessary to first centralized the already assembled metaphysical innate forces and to distribute their instructive information to the different parts of the body. Through inductive reasoning, of the many tissues comprising the animal body, the nerve system with its brain, spinal cord and nerves, is a network used by the innate intelligence of the body to link all of the different parts of that particular vertebrate animal body. From the adaptation of the e/matter of the nerve system by the innate intelligence of the body (pri.23), specialized coded messages with instructive information form the applications of those coded messages into a multitude of programs interfacing with each other and the operating system (brain as control center and nerve system to distribute the data). All this is so extremely complex that the interface itself is separate and distinct (pri.4). Therefore, a highly specialized system is used by innate intelligence for that purpose. It is the nerve system, which is the TRANSMITTING matter forming a network that is used by the innate intelligence of the body to coordinate the action of all the parts of the body into congruent and harmonious functions (pro.32) for mutual benefit of all its parts (pro.23)… INCLUDING the nerve system. It must be remembered that the nerve system also needs harmonious action (pri.32). The nerve system is comprised of living e/matter that continually needs to be adapted by innate intelligence (pro.23) in order to perform its function (pri.28) which is to TRANSMIT force. Therefore, stated as principle #28: “The forces of innate intelligence operate through or over the nervous system in animal bodies.”

as usual Claude…very well said and 2 the point reminds me of Reggie!

Correction: …and as you said, point blank belief >>IS NOT ENOUGH for this Doubting Thomas.

  5. David Suskin 11/19/2014, 2:19 am:

Very interesting Claude, and intriguing. You discuss time as a factor, that requires coordination and harmonization because time or time out of sync is certainly something that requires adaptation. Also the identification of the interface between metaphysical and physical, so intrinsic to the philosophy as represented by p 13 and p14! And as represented as a centralized organic structure being eg. The nervous system, very interesting.
A very cohesive train of thought. I will study it. Thank you Claude.
I have an interesting observation concerning the implicit nature of innate matter being imperfect as a representation of life, the cracks you say that let the light in. Universal matter is always represented by a perfect triune.p5
Butt notice how the the template of the triune as applied to life brings in a different order showing the signs of life, and a different function and mission and law. The law of life, as it applies to an imperfect triune. A triune that MUST have a LOM in order to exist, and to suggest Life.
Life is either innate Life. Imperfect matter (not like p2 p3 p4 p5), or perfect life which might suggest another level of life, not to exist in the normal plane of living (man beast and plant etc. ), but perhaps angelic, or non human, god like.
Yes I know the philosophy is non theological but I’m suggesting that the required imperfection of the triune as applied to life implies a perfect triune as either lifeless existence of matter or an idealism of perfect life in the living, the next level, the full ripening, chiropractic applied as time and matter reach infinity.
Think about it. Do you understand my implication.
And once again, even if you don’t or disagree, or have no comment,
Thank You Claude Lessard and Joe Strauss and everyone else who continue to inspire me and I’m sure inspire each other.

    • Claude Lessard 11/19/2014, 2:27 pm:

Lesson learned from the past: Before going public with any “implication”, the inquiry needs to be thoroughly under the authority of chiropractic’s basic science. Otherwise, it will add to further confusion and split within the profession (sectare: cut out). 😉

      • Claude 11/19/2014, 2:41 pm:

..: in other words, it is me WHO choose to abide by the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science before going public. We must remember that TRANSFORMATION comes from within. 😉

  6. David Suskin 11/19/2014, 6:57 pm:

So did you have to Transform before choosing to abide by the authority and before going public? Or is that in reference to my statement
suggesting additional implications within the 33 principles?
You seem to be able to take common day scenarios, problems, if you will, and using the realities of the 33 principles (eg. p#27 representing normal, or individuality) vs average (a statistical reality that applies to NO ONE, just a tool for prediction or legitimizing standardization, etc.).
It would be great if you could Chart ALL the principles (some you’ve associated with thermodynamics- conservation of energy, etc.), and in your critically eloquent way, associate them with the observable tenants of living, so one could say, for example, I feel angry, how do I handle that? What would the 33 principles point to. Or I feel anxious, what would the 33 principles (1 or more of them) make reference to to realitize them, or logicize them.
    Do you understand.
Chiropractic – 33 Principles to Live Your Life By.
Is that possible? Does that change the location of the Period in LACVS as the Chiropractic Objective? I’d think not.
Just a practical way of living a life of ADIO, applying the 33 principles and their inferences to Lifes situations, in order to be able to make accurate and positive decisions for oneself and perhaps to help steer others in the direction, as a leader.

    • Claude Lessard 11/19/2014, 7:57 pm:

Emotions like anger and anxiety are re-active manifestations to instructive information (pri.14) created by intelligence (pri.8 and 15) due to interference to the TRANSMISSION of those instructive information (pri.12 and 29). Since innate intelligence is ALWAYS normal and its function is ALWAYS normal (pr.27), its effect is COORDINATION OF ACTION for mutual benefit of ALL the parts (pr.23), including the educated brain with its myriads of chemo-electrical productions. When interference with TRANSMISSION of the instructive information of the innate intelligence of the body occurs, re-active manifestations like emotions and anger may result. Yet, from a chiropractic point of view, it is apparent that regardless of the state of mind that you find yourself in, you are better off without VS. Get the BIG idea and the rest will follow… and most probably, you will re-act to this statement as well. 😉

  7. David Suskin 11/19/2014, 8:23 pm:

Did you portray the Big Idea?
If I got it >> Is my reaction part of the rest that follows, or is it part of the contradictions and paradoxes that I don’t Choose to embrace?
As a motto, as a tag, as an attraction, some how the statement
‘regardless of… you are better off without VS’ just doesn’t have the punch that I think is necessary for a potent 1 liner.
You would have to understand VS as having an enormous CHARGE in order for that ‘tag’ to motivate, I think.
VS is HUGE, but only to one who has the BIG IDEA, and how many people truly have the BIG IDEA? How many Chiropractors have the BIG IDEA. Not to may.
Look how I struggle to Have The Big Idea.
The Larger the Big, the Bigger the reaction from the statement
You are Better Off Without VS will produce.

    • Claude 11/19/2014, 9:23 pm:

The statement ” you are better off without VS” is backed by the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science. You will have to take it up with the 33 principles. Then back up your comments based on AUTHORITY. 😉

      • Claude 11/19/2014, 9:38 pm:

… … and if it is you WHO choose to challenge the AUTHORITY of the 33 principles of chiropractic’s basic science, good for you! Do your homework WITH the principles, then share with us your conclusions. 😉
