Chiropractic philosophy should lead people to God consciousness. The thing that hinders this is the nature of man and his denial of the evidences of God. How anyone can hold with UI and II and not conclude there is a higher power who made it all eludes me. It would be nice if God wrote a book that showed what He wants with us and how to attain it. (said facetiously by a man who gives the Book away to anyone who will accept it.)

What are you aware of when you say you are aware of God?
What are you aware of when you say you are aware of Chiropractic?
Does God lead people to an awareness of Chiropractic?

David, I think chiropractic is part of an ADIO world and life viewpoint. Many/most/all people with an ADIO viewpoint are theists!?. Intelligent Design (ID) is a perfect example. (Although like chiropractic they put a period before mixing it with theism. I think both chiropractic and ID tend to draw that inference (IMO) inductively. ID tends to use scientific and mathematical knowledge for that purpose and maintain that they are separating science and religion, usually unsuccessfully. Reggie tended to use the same inductive reasoning for the Major Premise that the theists of the 17th and 18th century used to conclude the existence of God. The key is to know where the philosophy ends, the objective ends and theology begins. Admittedly sometimes the lines of separation are blurred. BJ and RWS had that blurring problem and (and again IMO) incorrectly described universal intelligence as God.

        Hi Joe,
Don’t really want to turn this into a Theological discussion but briefly,
As you stated that :’use the same inductive reasoning for the Major Premise that the theists of the 17th and 18th century used to conclude the existence of God.’
I though in many of your books you pointed to the fact that, in Today’s philosophical shall I say logical context, that THERE IS NO LOGIC, inductive or deductive that Proves Gods existence, philosophically.
That Faith was the only means.
The concepts of something, matter, ui, not being able to create itself, while indicates a Creator, does not prove what Theologically is discussed as God, or at least the Traditional Judeochristian God?
What, philosophically in the post 18th century philosophies where or are the criteria used to counter the God Proof and perhaps these same arguments do poke holes in the establishing of Chiro MP?
Just trying to fully, logically, OFFICIALLY, prove our apriori stance.
As to in essence not logically proove that by analogy eg. The Crators on the moon did occur by chance, etc.
would it be great to establish Chiropractic as unrutsble Truth, or is that asking for to much, perfection that no man has access to, philosophically speaking?

        • David Suskin 10/26/2015, 10:31 am:

          TYPO ALERT
Correction: I have NO idea what word this is suppose to be – OY
Let’s just say if the same logic that proved gods existence, 17th 18th century philosophy, is the same logic that establishes out apriori MP as the foundation to CO, then today, Yes knowing that THE TRUTH IS YHE TRUTH, 1st century or 100th century, being that at least in your books you suggest the Current inability to Prove God, except taken by faith, that that reality, that Current shall I say philosophy, Also would not support the MP, except as take by Faith Alone, puts our philosophy and the profession, as Undeniable TRUTH, in murky waters?
And I guess if it’s a 59:50 proposition, then one has to make that choice, not based on logic, but perception, or That mysterious and variable, experiential thing we call viewpoint.
I’m pretty sure Claude will say, it’s all about the WHO, and Choice to accept The P33s as Authority, πŸ˜‰
But I’m asking You, and of course Claude, and…
Or saying if you can’t prove God(and the last I looked in the year 2015, you can’t), then you can’t prove Chiropractic by our deductions,
MP being in question, or maybe in the end
note- just trying to have philosophical COTB discussion.
in the we hours of the night – Dave πŸ™‚

        • Joe Strauss 10/27/2015, 3:29 pm:

David, the 17th and 18th century (Wm Paley et al) were using empiricism to corroborate their inductive conclusion. They already had faith (in the existence of God) and were using induction to corroborate what they had already deduced. IOW they were using induction to prove their faith. Chiropractors use induction to demonstrate that conclusion without having demonstrated it .. but in the end as I have said in my books , it ultimately necessitates a leap of faith. Since we cannot demonstrate the MP without making chiropractic a religion we use the inductive method. Induction ultimate requires either a empirical proof/corroboration or has to be based upon a deduction, (a religious Super MP)God must be based upon Faith.
The craters on the moon were not inscrutable. They were caused by God, man or meteors. I would disagree with Copernicus and say meteors. Its the dust that i have a problem with. If the moon is as old as the earth (billions of years), the dust should have been much deeper than to just leave a footprint. That’s why the funny long legs on the lunar module that caused so long to get out of it and necessitate a “giant leap for mankind”. It didn’t sink as deep into the surface of the moon that the scientits thought it would.

This question addresses something that may or may not happen after the PERIOD… called results, or lack thereof, from which outcomes and assessments are derived. Therefore, it is me WHO choose to conclude that this question is beyond the scope of the chiropractic objective. –

    – If you would entertain the principle of coordination (pri32), then we could proceed with the NEW possibility of harmonious action of all the parts of an organism, in fulfilling their offices and purposes. WHO would invent NEW possibilities after the PERIOD. What would those NEW possibilities be? WHO knows… –

    – Reminds me of BJ’s answer to a question from a student, in one of the hallways at Palmer in the late 1950″s, which was: “You’ll know” πŸ˜‰

  4. Claude Lessard 10/26/2015, 7:01 pm:

You wrote: “I’m pretty sure Claude will say, it’s all about the WHO, and Choice to accept The P33s as Authority,” –

    – Beware of the temptation of the “omnipotent choice.” Choice alone is not magic, and the power to choose is not guarantee that any choice, provided only that it is a deeply convinced choice, will always be the right choice. Here choosing is not compliance with the chiropractic objective.. One may choose not to practice the chiropractic objective. One may choose to practice chiropractic in a way that defeats the chiropractic objective. The chiropractic objective does not seek its own defeat. Nor does it seek mere victory over conquest. The chiropractic objective is beyond conquest, beyond victory and defeat. –

    – Hence the chiropractic objective is not the mere act of the Will. Development is not the mere development of will. Mere willfulness, pretending to be practicing the chiropractic objective, has no power except the power of delusion. –

    – The chiropractic objective is at once DEPENDENT AND FREE. It depends on LACVS, and it also freely invents NEW possibilities within itself through the creative power that comes from the principle of coordination (pri32). –

    – The one WHO chooses to practice the chiropractic objective is invited to hold the tension of existing contradictions between world views.

  5. David Suskin 10/26/2015, 8:45 pm:

Are you stating that LACVS typically invites the holding of existing contradictions between world views, and as said other times, by telling the story over and over in as many creative ways, helps to afford a Transformation in both Doctor and PM, inventing NEW Possibilities through the actuation of P32, which is all necessary to allow this opportunity to take manifest?
That willfulness and choice must be the correct choice, which can only be a Truth if enacted within the ADIO paradigm?
Choice is NOT a guarantee viewpoint towards Truth. Choice, Conviction, and Accuracy, Proximity to logical yet humble thinking and the ability to straddle paradox successfully ensures a greater chance to move oneself and ones PM from point A to point B at the level of organization and coordination that has been arrived at?
Do I know what I just said?
Trying to remain in the middle of the forest πŸ˜‰

    • Claude Lessard 10/26/2015, 11:03 pm:

To stay in the middle of the forest requires that a chiropractor keeps practicing the chiropractic objective and NOT forget the period. πŸ˜‰

  6. David Suskin 10/27/2015, 10:14 am:

And how does the PM stay in the middle of the forest and where do they put the period?

    • Claude Lessard 10/27/2015, 11:08 am:

By observing that it is you WHO is choosing to stay in the center of the forest… no matter what! πŸ˜‰

      • Claude Lessard 10/27/2015, 11:46 am:

… and is this not the meaning of choosing to be a witness for another?

  7. David Suskin 10/27/2015, 12:26 pm:

Slipping and Checking as a PM? No matter what?
You realization that the Chiro IS the PM, except for the nuance of ‘Do as I say, not as I do’). So I do understand your answer.
Emotions and thoughts intertwine into many, many manifestations resulting in controlled behavior (choosing-responding), and non controlled behavior (reacting).
You’re saying Claude, to SEE Your Self.
While ii and ui, thru mission, create their purpose in the grand scheme of things, with the fullest expression of ii allowed (maximally subluxation free), this is a most challenging thing for ones CHOICE to take hold of, responsibly.
‘No matter what’, well, this in most cases does, as I observe, command a lot of bumps and bruises, bravery, moving outside the comfort zone, acceptance, surrender, maturity, integrity, healthy selflessness, common sense and a whole lot of personal growth, if your lucky enough to engage that (I don’t personally see a tremendous amount of that in the human population).
    Anyway Doc Claude,
I do a lot of yeah buts, and let’s say, verbal diarrhea, bla bla bla.
You manage to say things in a word (WHO), etc.
In spite of ‘God Consciousness’ i guess its best to try and do your best, which at least I know that I attempt to do.
Transformation! Ah, it should only be so easy πŸ˜‰
I’ll count my blessings or better.
    Amazing isn’t it πŸ˜‰
