Expediency…

definition suitable for achieving a particular endAll things are Lawful to me but all things are not expedient but I will not be ruled by them. 1 Cor. 6:12 (literal translation). The apostle Paul was contextually writing about his personal attitude toward eating meat sacrificed to idols as part of the Greeks’ worship. But if I might draw an analogy to chiropractic; It is perfectly legal for chiropractors to practice TSC or even practice “rank” mixing. But it is not “suitable for achieving a particular end” unless the end is to address the cause of all disease or the diseases demonstrated by research. Even if they could, that is not the objective of OSC. It does not address the cause of a lack of LIFE, the objective of chiropractic (the expression of innate intelligence through matter). That is why most states restricted chiropractors from utilizing medical procedures when chiropractic was first legislated, procedures which have been slowly but surely incorporated into chiropractic. By the time that all medical procedures are incorporated into chiropractic it will no longer be different enough to make a difference and “chiropractic medicine” will no longer be an anathema but our chiropractic reality.

Medicine has become highly specialized because that is where the money is. General Practitioners have disappeared. Chiropractors, who pursue medicine and forsake the specialization of chiropractic, will become the GPs as they are assimilated into medicine. They literally will become the grunts who do the scud work. Ironically, medicine will be glad to have these step children and the medicalized DCs will be glad for the scraps thrown to them.
